During the third quarter of the Cleveland Cavaliers' 99-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday, Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving caught an inbounds pass beyond midcourt, but didn't realize there were only two seconds remaining on the shot clock.

With teammates shouting at him, Irving did the only thing he could: He heaved the ball up.

It went in, giving the Cavaliers a 13-point lead.

The crowd went crazy. And the guy from West Orange, N.J., who played at Montclair Kimberley Academy and St. Patrick High School, shrugged and smiled.
